ClearStop website privacy

How ClearStop, LLC uses information on clearstop.app, including the waitlist and the Meta Pixel we use for ads. Effective October 8, 2026.

Who we are

ClearStop, LLC runs this marketing website and the ClearStop pool service app. This page covers clearstop.app. The full policy for the signed-in app is at app.clearstop.app/privacy.

Waitlist

If you join the ClearStop waitlist, we store the answers you submit so we can contact you about launch, Founders pricing, and related product updates. We do not sell waitlist information.

We collect:

  • Name
  • Company
  • Phone
  • Email
  • Number of techs
  • Number of pools
  • City and state
  • What you use today (Paper / spreadsheets, Skimmer, Pool360, Other software, or Nothing yet)
  • Main reason you are interested (Price, Missing features, Unreliable / buggy, Switching from paper, or Just exploring)
  • Optional notes you type in “Anything else we should know?”
  • The time of your signup

Signups are stored in our database. After a new signup, we may send a thank-you email to the address you gave. Duplicate emails are not stored again.

Every waitlist or launch email has an unsubscribe link. Once you unsubscribe, we keep your email address on a do-not-email list so we never send you those emails again.

Meta Pixel and ads

This website uses the Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms so we can count page visits and waitlist signups and measure how our Facebook and Instagram ads perform. The Pixel may use cookies and collect information such as the pages you visit, your browser and device, and your IP address.

The Pixel only loads if you tap Accept on the privacy choices banner. Until then, and if you tap Decline, no Pixel code loads and nothing is sent to Meta. Your choice is saved in your browser. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as Decline. You can change your mind any time with the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in the footer: it turns the Pixel off right away and lets you choose again.

If you accepted, when a new waitlist signup saves, we can send Meta a Lead event so ads can be measured. We do not send the contents of the waitlist form (name, email, phone, company, or other answers) to Meta.

The ClearStop app itself does not use advertising identifiers, cross-app tracking, or ad networks.

Your choices

  • Manage Facebook or Instagram ad personalization at facebook.com/adpreferences.
  • Use “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” in the footer, or turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser, to keep the Meta Pixel off.
  • Block or clear third-party cookies in your browser settings.
  • Use the unsubscribe link in any waitlist email to stop those emails.
  • To ask about waitlist data, ask us to remove your waitlist entry, or ask a question about this page, email helpdesk@clearstop.app.

Other policies

Billing rules such as billable pools are on our Policies page. App accounts, location, Cleary, and deletion are covered in the app Privacy Policy.
